Andalusia Farmers Coop was founded in 1969 when Anderson Peanuts became a division of Alabama Farmers Coop. During the early years, Crop Protection Products and a little seed was sold out of Anderson Peanut Office. Fertilizer was added when the store building was completed in July 1973. With this milestone came a complete line of farm supply products. The initiative to build the building started from a very loyal group of farmers.
